PRIVACY POLICY

1. The Short Version: We Collect Nothing

Roast My Statement is designed as a 100% offline, local-first application. We do not have servers, we do not require accounts, and we do not collect, harvest, transmit, or sell your personal or financial data.

2. Data Processing and Storage

All data processed by the application remains strictly on your personal device. This includes:

Financial Quiz Answers: Stored locally in your device's memory to generate your personality profile.
Bank Statements (.csv files): When you import a CSV statement, the parsing algorithm runs entirely inside your device's browser/app engine. The file is never uploaded to the internet.
Personal Logs & Budgets: Data entered into the Financial Management dashboard is saved to your browser/device's local storage (e.g., localStorage or IndexedDB).
Profile Pictures: Images you upload as an avatar are processed through a local cropper and saved as localized strings on your device.

3. Permissions (Android App)

If you are using the Android application version of Roast My Statement, the app may request the following permissions purely to perform localized functions:

Storage/Media Access: Requested only if you attempt to save your generated 9:16 PNG Personality Card directly to your device's Gallery. We do not scan, read, or upload other files from your file system.

4. Third-Party Services & Tracking

We do not embed third-party advertising trackers (like Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or AdMob) within the core application. Your usage behavior within the app is private to you.

5. Data Deletion

Because your data is stored locally, you have complete control over its destruction. You can delete all your data at any time by navigating to Settings -> Danger Zone within the application and selecting Factory Reset System. Uninstalling the app, or clearing your browser cache (if using the web version), will also permanently destroy the data.

6. Changes to This Policy

If we ever introduce optional online features (like cloud backups), we will update this policy and explicitly ask for your permission before any data leaves your device.
